Baby Nell was born today at 4:27 AM.
She was 4.090 kgs at 52cm at birth.
There's a long and involved tale behind the birth I am not allowed to tell, because Elissa wants to blog it all when she gets home in a few days.
She was very brave and wonderful throughout the birth and Nell is grand!

congratulations! nell is such a great name. she looks so sweet and perfect in the photo. good work, elissa (and soy, and zac too of course)! look forward ot hearing the story of her arrival.

Congratulations Elissa and Simon. and Zac welcome to baby Nell, wanted to say Elenor, Ellenor but not sure how to spell Elenor I had an Aunty Nell who always made my concert dancing clothes she played as very large part of my early life. so I hope Nell inherits some of her expertise.

Three cheers for baby Nell!!! Heartiest congratulations (especially to Elissa, for all her hard work) and a huge welcome to your gorgeous girl. I'm so glad to hear that she is safely with us, and that she and her mum are doing well. I am also most impressed to hear (via her Dad) what clever presents she'd chosen for her big brother. A most discerning young woman, obviously. Can't wait to meet her!! Big hugs and kisses to all.
